GL Balance Analysis Basic is missing some detail for queries. It is faster than the GL Balance Analysis:
Depending on the detail level you are looking for you can choose between these two.

+2GL Balance Analysis Basic is a very simple version of GL Balance Analysis that only shows cr/dr balances and a total. Budgets aka ‘Planning’ columns are not viewable in GL Balance Analysis Basic.
Also keep in mind that neither allow for configuration of columns - so what you see is what you get.
