Question

T1 Posting error in Work Task Posting Analysis

Forum|alt.badge.img+10

We are getting T1 posting errors and cannot see why.

  • The value C1223 used for the code part PROJECT is either missing, is a budget/planning code part value or has invalid time interval.

The work task preposting is populated with Project C1223.  the project has been re-opened and is valid until Jan 31.

I have tried duplicating the issue in test but the time transactions are valid so we’re not seeing the same issue in test.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what else to look for.

Thanks

Shelley

@smelanson When you mention Project was reopened/ validity period, were you referring to the Finance Project? Please check both the finance project, project and activity are in order.

If so try running Rerun Erroneous Work Task Posting, if everything is in order this should resolve the error.

Hope this suggestion helps !

Hi,

Yes, the Finance project is active and valid. the account is also active and the code part demands are ok.

Other transactions for this project have posted successfully it just seems to be the T1 posting type that are erroring.

Also, the Work Type is set up for Posting Type T1

@smelanson I faced similar issue. First of all could not trace why this error is appearing, but following alternate worked for me -

  1. Once error appears, Rerun the errorneous work task transaction window. Make sure to do this using User ID which is included in User per User Group - AC
  2. Check the background job is in Ready status, if in posted status please execute it.
  3. Transactions should change to Valid Status.
