I've just looked but I can't find an answer because I don't see what this button adds. 

When do you think it should do something? 

@audreyS given other settings are correctly set, changing this parameter would decide if an order confirmation is sent to the demand site automatically or not in a change of customer order.

Ok very well do you know the settings that need to be made for this to work please. 

Is confirmation sent if you change the internal customer order to the external customer order? Or is it the other way around?
