On the Customer Invoice page, I am able to see the “Reprint Original from Archive” and “Reprint Original Duplicate” buttons on invoices up to 1 week old.

However, the buttons are not visible on invoices older than that.

 

 

Is this timeframe editable, and if so where is this setting? I would like to be able to reprint the original invoice for older invoices.

I thought this may be related to the Life Time that the report is saved in the Report Archive, but that is not it. Our invoices are removed from the report archive each day (life time is set to 0) but I am still able to use the Reprint Original Duplicate button for invoices up to 7 days old.

 

@hreavis looking with Page Designer to the command this is what I could see. The command should be enabled when the Invoice status is different from null | Cancelled | Preliminary. You also need to make sure the Visible checkbox is checked.

Then I can Reprint Original Duplicate:

to the best of my knowledge, the "Reprint Original Duplicate" option is only accessible to the user who initially printed the invoice. Other users are limited to using the "Reprint Modified" option.

  • I tried checking “Visible” in Page Designer but was still not able to see the Reprint Orignial Duplicate Button on invoices older than 7 days.
  • I am able to see the “Reprint Original Duplicate” button for invoices that I did not create (as long as they are not more than 7 days old).

Here is a screenshot of the same 9/17 invoice in my initial post. Yesterday I was able to Reprint Original Duplicate for this invoice, but now this invoice is 8 days old and I am no longer able to use that button.

This is not an invoice that I created.

Please let me know if you have any other suggestions!
