In IFS 7.5, I’m trying to run a report in Financials > General Ledger > Reports > General Ledger Report Counter Account, and when I’m inserting the Period 2021 or 2020 or others I receive a message “The Accounting Period object does not exist”.
Am I missing something?

It doesn’t matter how I try, as soon as I write 2020 (first field) I get the message...

Do you have periods defined for current (2021) year? Blank period id might be the reason.
As a workaround, you can use option of report by dates

Ideally dialog should be opened with current accounting year and accounting period.
But I’m not sure why system doesn't fetch the accounting period value for both “from period” and “to period”.
How did you remove the default values of periods? Have you changed the accounting year manually ?
Check whether you have defined accounting periods for 2020 and please send me a screen print of initially loaded dialog
