Hi Andrei,

Engineering projects with  project deliverables, shows the corresponding cost/revenue information for the deliverable structure items on the Project item navigator view.

The corresponding costs are calculated and accumulated corresponding to the project connected postings. Any account which is excluded from project Follow up will not show the corresponding cost/revenue information on the Project item navigator window.

Regards,
Dinudu.

Thanks @Dinidu Udana

I have a question on this statement:  “Any account which is excluded from project Follow up will not show the corresponding cost/revenue information on the Project item navigator window.”

  • Let’s assume that the cost is Materials. Normally this would involve an Inventory account. Are you saying that if the inventory account was excluded from project follow up then no cost calculation and accumulation would occur since that account is involved in the postings? Or does calculation and accumulation of costs still occur?
  • If the Exclude from Project follow up checkbox is unchecked on the account, will the costs show up in the project item navigator?
