Hi All,

For certain users code part heading value  is visible whilst for some the heading value is merely D,E,F.

What can be causing this issue ?

Need your kind input.

Thank you

Hi,

This is caused due to security permissions.

I had posted the root cause in another posting probably well over a year ago.

A coworker (Amy) sent this to me probably over 20 years ago.

Code Part @A symbols displaying on Voucher Entry form instead of appropriate column headers - I've identified the Presentation Object/Database Object that needs to be granted in order to correctly display those headers. On the detail screen for the Permission Set in question, go to the Presentation Objects by Component tab. In the Navigator under Accounting Rules - expand that folder and scroll down to Globals for Accounting Rules. Expand that object and then grant the method ACCOUNTING_CODE_PARTS_API.Get_Acc_Code_Parts_Msg. Save the record, refresh the security cache and then log back in as the user and the appropriate column headers should now be visible from the Voucher Entry form.

Best regards,

Thomas

Hi Thomas ,

It seems they have two users whose having the same permissions sets and one user can see them and the other cant .

These users have been   granted ACCOUNTING_CODE_PARTS_API.Get_Acc_Code_Parts_Msg aswell.

I will further investigate .

Thank you .
