Is it possible to import employee salary expenses from the HCM module to the Business Planning module?

If so, what is the correct system setup in both the HCM and Business Planning modules to ensure the salary information is transferred to Business Planning?

Currently, we are able to import the headcount but not the salary information. Our setup is described in the screenshots below.

Hii, 

You have to make sure below items are defined.

  1. Under Employee file > compensation tab > check whether employee salary information is defined 
  2. Under Employee file > Employment information > periods > Employment details section “Agreement “There should be an agreement connected
  3. Under Employee status > “Include in Business Plan “must be enabled (yes) for employee status you are using.

After defining the basic agreement data and linking the agreement to the employee, I successfully retrieved the compensation information in Business Planning/Personnel Planning.

This resolved my issue! Thank you again for your assistance!


Suggestion to @IFS RD Product Management: Please list the HCM prerequisites necessary for personnel Planning in the IFS Cloud Product Documentation.
