Hi all,

I'm hoping someone who's already navigated the challenges of setting up REST APIs for AP automation might be able to offer some insights.

We’re currently working with a company to implement their AP automation solution, and they’ve requested that we create REST APIs to send data to their system. I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone through a similar implementation—specifically, was it your responsibility to build the required APIs and workflows, or were these provided by the automation provider as part of their service?

Any advice or shared experience would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Kevin, 

from Previous experience with Pagero, (it might work similar to other providers), IFS had estandar solution to recibe the invoices from supplier thru external invoice process.

If the requirement if to deliver other information to the AP automatization provider, it should be identified with information is required for this integration.

Try to use standard IFS solution. Hope it is helpfull.

The documents do help and appreciated,

What I worry about is all the REST API’s that we are expected to create for the AP Automation , I am surprised that an interface would expect this if its is integrated into a IFS system as they stated.

Did you have to create any Rest API’s

 

 


Hello ​@kevin Cox, i had performed setup to received invoice from Pagero, and it was not required to create any REST API, all process was configured using standar solution. Comunication setup thru IFSConnect.
