HI, is possible to indicate in a “warranty” task under the “part required material” screen in MWO that this specific “required material” is under warranty. I don’t see this option when the field engineer create a new one “required material”.

Also in IFS cloud. backoffice is not be able to identify this “material line” as “warranty”

I’m using IFS cloud 25R1

Hi, can you elaborate a bit on what scenario you want to achieve here? To put an installed part through a  Work Task under warranty?

thanks @ajnsse , we need to create a “required order line” from MWO under warranty conditions… in MWO we need to indicate that this specific “required line” is under warranty.

Thanks

Still not exactly sure what scenario you want to support. Can you explain with a real scenario and a bit in detail?

The question is how the technician using MWO order a Part under warranty.

Thanks!

Do you want the technician to see if the part they are ordering (or issuing) is under warranty? Is this only for serialized parts?

Yes...that’s the idea...could be for Serial or not serial parts.

Okey thanks, no that is not possible to view at the moment.

  1.  What warranty information do you want when you plan the material to be used for the job in IFS Cloud? What is it used for?
  2. If the technician orders a part for a job, what warranty information should they see, and why?
  3. How do you track the warrranty if the part is not identifiable by a serial number?

  1. We need to identify the “Product Requesition” as Warranty
  2. Just waranty conditions
  3. All the parts in the “Service Object” are below warranty X months after the installation. (warranty conditions)
