Hi,

I have many places with multiple products linked to each place (with product_id and  model_id) Each product_id has a fixed Product_PM coverage end date (ex 31.12.2024). This end date prevents users from creating new tasks or inspections if it is earlier than the current date.

Manually modifying the coverage end date automatically updates the new slots in PM schedules. But with sql update query it changes the coverage end date value but not updating slots in PM schedules.

Problem: I need to update the coverage end date for 1,000 product_id’s across 1,000 places.
It would be greta help if any one has solution or suggestion how to solve this.

Thanks and Regards,
Akshay.

Hi @RTTPAAKDE ,

You are correct if you update anything via sql, FSM will not know that the change was made and none of the business logic or business rules will get triggered.

Have you tried to use a mass update xml or to add a mass update button to the contract screen? Also don’t forget that once you modify the contracts end dates you will need to post the contracts again.

Morris

Hi @Morris,

Thank you for suggestion! I will try using Mass update XML as you recommended.
Additionally, Do you know which business rules will get triggered and create slots in  PM Schedules when covergae_end_dt is changed? Is this a standard business rule or a custom implementation specific to the customer?

Thank you in advance for help.

Regards,
Akshay.

Hi @RTTPAAKDE

I don’t know if there are any BRs that do that vs general policy within FSM. I believe it is policy.
