We are unable to run reconfiguration for Mobility getting invalid username or password error.

The same credentials are working fine in smart client.

Hi Rajesh,

can you please fetch the Installer log by hitting ctrl+l after message appears?

Best regards

Thanks.

Can you please check that the METRIX account isn’t locked? You can check that in the Person-Screen. Did you make any changes to that account?

Further, verify if the IFS_Mobile User exists in the DB by querying the Person table (either via SQL Query Tool or SSMS).

Is this a upgrade or new install?

Best regards
Roman

METRIX account was not available now I have created it manually and reconfiguration is completed.

Still users are note able to login getting invalid username or password error.  IFS_Mobile user is not available in DB. We have upgraded this environment from FSM6 UPD19 to FSM6 UPD20.

In which Client do they get this message upon login? If it is Mobile than make sure that they have the “mobile user” flag enabled on their person record.

I’m wondering why you can’t find that User in the DB. Normally, it should be there and if it is really missing than this might be also the root cause of your user login issue when using Mobile.

However, you would also see a error message in the Installer log if the IFS_Mobile user can’t be found.

Best regards
Roman
