I am currently creating a new custom look up / standard screen.

 

As we know, in the standard screens and functions, we have the Access Group field that limits access to these screens based on the corresponding Access Group input for each Person.

 

Eg. If request has Access Group = A, and Person as Role with Access Group =A, then this person can view that request.

 

How do we setup this same functionality of Access Group control in a Custom screen?

If the custom screen is based on a baseline table that already has access group functionality (such as Person, Request, Place, etc) then you should not need to do do anything more on the custom screen.  If the custom screen is based on a custom table, then you will need to add access groups to the custom table and add a rule to control access via access groups.
