We know that FSM is already supported when loaded on MS Windows 2022 Server and also supporting MS SQL Server 2022 (for on premise installation).

Wondering why PSO has not been updated to also support the lastes version of MS Server and MS SQL Server.

As of now, the PSO version 6.12.0.14 is only supported on MS Server 2019 and MS SQL 2019.

Wondering if the future PSO version 6.13 (that will be released in the summer) will be supported on MS Server 2022 and MS SQL Server 2022.

In our case, for non-production environment, we  have decided to store the FSM database and PSO database on the same server (to simplify the architecture) - and the fact that PSO is behind in terms of OS and SQL server supported version forces us to stick with a lower version of OS and SQL Server.

I would rather wait for PSO 6.14 if I will have the assurance that by Fall the PSO 6.14 will be available on MS Server 2022 and SQL Server 2022.

Hi Daniel,

PSO version 6.12 and 6.13 does not currently support Microsoft Windows Server 2022 or Microsoft SQL Server 2022. It is in our roadmap to look into this at some point in the future.

Thanks,
Kai

Thank you guys. After we conducted a deep analysis of the pros and cons between MS SQL 2022 and MS SQL 2019, we came to a conclusion that at this moment, MS SQL 2019 it’s the safer way to move forward.
