Web client is not able to parse date parameter for any report whether it is standard FSM report or custom reports. When we are passing the date parameter from smart client the report is being generated , however from web -client we are getting error for the same set of parameters.

Our detailed requirement is as follows:

Technicians has task to complete and each task may have multiple steps to be done. In the task status flow, after reaching onsite, technician needs to select the status as ‘In-Process’ first to start working on the task. After completion of all steps under the task only, technician will be able to change the task status as ‘Completed’. Unless technician fills up his findings against all the steps, system will not allow him to change the task status as ‘Completed’ and show him an error message (like ‘Steps are not completed’).

Please note that the requirement is to be handled through client scripts, etc. (but not through Business Rule) so that technician can get this error message and not able to complete, even when he is working in offline mode (no connectivity/synchronization with FSM server).

Another point – after ‘In-Process’, the next possible task statuses are ‘Completed’ and ‘Unresolved’. The scenario of ‘Completed’ status is mentioned above. However, if technician is unable to complete the task due to whatever reason, he may keep steps undone and then should be able to change the task status to ‘Unresolved’ (not ‘Completed’). So the solution to be suggested should not impact the ‘Unresolved’ scenario.

Hi @udita,

The initial part of your post indicates an issue with dates on reports when run from the web client but the rest of the post relates to technicians altering a task status on FSM mobile. Are you able to clarify what the specific issue is here so that we can make sure we give an appropriate response?

Kind regards,
