Hello, how can I find the PSO version that I currently have? For example 6.12.0... or 6.13? I could only find this information.

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

Iulia

Hi, there are a few ways to find out

  • log out of the workbench and it will be displayed on the bottom right of the login screen
  • check the version of the applications in the Administration workspace → Applications screen
  • In the Events screen search for events with id=238, the version will be displayed against the service which is being started e.g. ‘Started logging events for DST 6.13.0.9’

Thanks,

Tom

Hi @tomgreenwood, thank you for the help. It’s weird that none of the three ways work for me.

  • I cannot see anything at the bottom right when logging out and in:

  • I don’t have Applications in the Administration workspace. I can see Applications in our internal test system, but not in the client system. There is no permission for that. Is it normal?

And in the Events screen, there is no event ID 238.

Best regards,

Iulia

Hi Iulia, you have 2 options.

#1: Save a schedule and export it as XML. The XML has a section <plan> that includes the release.

#2: Your PSO URL likely looks like this: https://<your-server>/pso/workbench/<your-org>/scheduling/resource. Shorten this to https://<your-server>/pso/workbench/default, the login page should display the release.

Hi @Alexander Heinze, thank you very much. Both options work.

Hi Iulia, yes this is normal as you are using a cloud hosted environment so when you log out you see the cloud login page. Also Cloud hosted environments do not allow permission for the Applications screen and events are limited to those of the child dataset.

@tomgreenwood, thanks a lot for the explanation, it is very much appreciated.
