Hi Expert,

I need to add newly created documentation to the Help → Documentation section in the FSM Help menu.

Can anyone guide me on the feasibility of this and how I can go about doing it?

Thanks!

Hi @Leshika Wijesekara
I believe you could do as below

Using the FSM Admin Console

  1. Login as an Admin in FSM.
  2. Navigate to System Configuration → Help Settings.
  3. Locate the section for Custom Help Links or User Documentation.
  4. Click Add New Help Document and enter:
    • Title: Name of the document (e.g., "FSM Custom Guide").
    • URL or File Path: The web link or repository location where the document is stored.
    • Category: Select or create a relevant category (e.g., “User Guides”).
  5. Save & Apply Changes.

If using IFS Cloud, document links should be added via Aurena Configuration:

  1. Login to IFS Cloud.
  2. Go to Help & Support Settings.
  3. Add a custom URL reference for the new document.
  4. Apply changes and validate in the Help section.

You can create a custom function in the “custom functions” screen and choose the type as documentation and entering a url (could be a file on the server or an external file)

Once that is done, create custom menu in the “menu definitions” screen and link it according to the structure.
