FSM - How to disable the "Saved searches" button (Request screen)

Forum|alt.badge.img+5

Hi Community,

With my team, we currently searching how to disable the “Saved searches” dropdown button in our REQUEST and TASK screen.

We thought we had to disable the dropdown button “SHOW” in UI designer with “Invisible” fonctionnality but the button is still visible… (We are in FSM6U16)

Have you a lead for us ?

Thanks & Regards,
Gauthier MENARD--BURGUN

Ho @GAUTHIERM ,

This is pretty straight forward. If you set a field invisible, simply it will hide the field in the form.

Kasun

Hi @GAUTHIERM

Please follow the steps below.

  1. First delete “Show” icon
  1. Next save the screen, either creating a new screen or replace the default screen

  1. If this is a new screen you need to add the screen to the Role.
  1. Next refresh the Cache and better to Restart the app.
  1. Observe that Saved search options are no longer available.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Kasun

Hi @Kasun Manuranga, thanks you for your reply, we will try that.

What is the impact of the “Invisible” check box on the “SHOW” icon ?

Hi @Kasun Manuranga, ok but have you tried with the “SHOW” button ? I don’t see a difference when we check this box.

(But it’s ok for another field)

Gauthier

@GAUTHIERM ,

Yes, I consider this is as a possible software fault which should be looked by RnD. It should work behind a button as well.

Option then is to delete the button as stated earlier.

Best Regards,

Kasun
