Hi Experts,

we have a incident from a customer regarding an issue related to the functionality of Activity Feed. So basically he want to disable it in order to improve the performance of the application and to avoid the  lag/slowdown caused by it when trying to access the main menu.

So we have already tried below scenarios to disable it but as per the customer its still enabled..

  1.  Via setting the app param value to 'N' which comes under the app param called 'ACTIVITY_FEED_ENABLED'
  2. And checked whether below functions are disabled( or cannot be seen), in the each role that comes under particular PERSON record and below functions cannot be seen under roles as-well..
  • ACTIVITYFEED
  • ACTIVITYFEEDCHILD
  • ACTIVITYFEEDFOLLOW
  • ACTIVITYFEEDSETTINGS

Therefore I would like to know, What will be a possible solution for us to disable the functionality of Activity Feed apart from the scenarios that we have already tried.

Your expert opinion on this is highly appreciated..

Hi @Induwari,

The app param you indicate in your first point should control the activity feed so setting it to N should be all that is required.

Are you able to clarify what you are seeing that suggests this is still running? What version of FSM is running?

Kind regards,

Lee Pinchbeck
