Where can I find documentation on setting up Document Management Repository as a shared file location

i am looking for documentation on setting up repositories in a shared file location for Document Management.

 you can open the EDM basic window in IEE go to repositories tab and press f1 will open the help documantation . Search for “Enter Repository Location” this page has information as well.

Hi @dkjensen did you notice the steps specified in docs.ifs.com?

Shared Location is also listed there, I noticed

Hi,

While Shared repositories should work as well as FTP, I find it easier to setup the right access/permissions when using FTP. Of course, you get the added complexity of having a FTP server, but there are free and good options today for that and it is not very hard to set it up. The key point is understanding that permissions should be viewed from the perspective of the application/IFS server, and not the client the user uses.
