Hi Community,

I am trying to set up the Office Add-In feature in IFS Document Management. I managed to Install and set it up. But I am facing an issue here.

I have set up my setting as below.

In here I am using below email and I am trying to attach only the attachments. Note that I have a signature and it contains few images.

When I try only to add the attachments, Create document from Microsoft office opens up with 7 attached files. I think its picking the images from the mail body as well.

Is there anything that I can do to avoid this. Even I can select which documents needs to be uploaded it still picking the mail body images.

Is this intended? Anything that I can do to avoid this please?

Thanks,

Chamath

Hi. I cannot explain this, sorry. Although we recently made the Office Add-Ins available for IFS Cloud, they are quite old and we didn't see this behavior earlier. Perhaps for some types of e-mails (you know, we can have Plain Text, HTML or Rich Text, at least in Outlook) images included in the e-mail are seen as attachments. If we ask Outlook to list all attachments and if it lists images embedded in the mail body, I think we cannot do much about it without a large redesign where we ask the user for what attachments to include.

My guess this is due to how Outlook behaves, simply put.

This is a strange behavior. Which IFS Cloud version is it?
