Hi @Mathias Dahl,

The workaround suggested above also seems to be not working. The Drag and Drop feature is not available in 24R1 too. Any idea, when this feature will be enabled together with Aurena Agent?

We can’t say, sorry. And it’s not clear we will do it, ever, because of the technical limitations in the web browser, in combination with features we have that require the Aurena Agent.

Did you consider doing what I described here:

?

We can't say, sorry. And, as I might have mentioned above, it's not trivial combining the features, due to the technical limitations we have in web browsers, combined with things we need the Aurena Agent for, combined with having the user understand the limitations.

Is there a reason you cannot configure the system to use the Create Documents assistant, where drag and drop is enabled?

@Mathias Dahl   Thanks for the update.

In our scenario, the most common way of uploading documents to IFS is by attaching them to objects such as Work Orders, Work Tasks, PM Actions, Purchase Requisitions, Work Task Templates, etc.

Users typically attach files directly to these objects using the attachment panel and the drag & drop feature. However, when using the File Select option, only one file can be selected at a time.

This limitation is definitely causing inefficiencies in the document attachment process.

Hi @Mathias Dahl  We are live on 22r2 and currently testing 24r2 but still drag and drop functionality enabled when we use Aurena agent. I can see this post goes more than 2 years its hard to see still there is not proper solution for this.

This has not changed in 24R2, nor 25R1.

Do you know about the alternative ways of working described here?

@VPPEKANATHI if you want to attach multiple files by drag n drop to business object from the attachment panel, you can configure the basic data as follows.

  • Document Management\Basic Data\Document Default Values - set the DB column ATTACH_CREATE_NEW_FORM to Create Documents.
