Please try below steps. First you need to identify LU and enable document attachments from Object connections.

For example, if you need to attach documents to Employee file > Qualifications > Certificates row,

Find the Logical unit associated, by selecting the row and opening System info.

Then go to Object connections and add a row similar to below and refresh cache.

Open a new window (log off and log in if needed). Now the “Documents” option should be available.

If you want to add documents directly to the Employee file header, then the attachment LU is CompanyPerson.
