Document is not getting opened.

Hi all ,

Set of users are unable to view document from the change request (through the eye icon ) ,no error message comes the document is not visible. The issue is in production and in test it works fine.

These users can view the attachments through document revision through view document.

May I kindly know if this is due to a permission or a basic data issue please .

1. So the Eye icon is visible but nothing happens when clicking it?

2. Does the Download button work?

 When the user clicks the eye icon he cannot see any details on the screen and only document title appears and the image doesn't come. They also mentioned after upgrading (24R1)this issue had occurred in the live.

I will check if he can download from the change request window. He mentioned he can view document from doc revision and then it gets downloaded.

Looks like it's the built in image/document viewer that cannot display the file. If it's a PDF then it could be that the viewer has limitations with some PDF files.

You can file a support case and ask the client framework team to look into this. If you are allowed to it would help them if you can include the PDF file that fails.
