Hello everyone,

Any idea whether IFS has rolled back Document File (to use new file or existing file) option in IFS cloud. I am unable to find this option while creating document through Create Document Assistant process in IFS cloud.

Hi,

I think we have had this option since IFS Cloud 21R1:

Is that what you are after?

Or, did you want this?

Let us know what you think.

Hi Mathias,

Thank you for suggesting New Document from Template option, however, it is partially fulfilling the requirement.

Following points are matching with Apps10 functionality:

  1. Option to select desired File format (Word/Excel or any other) in advance.
  2. Create record Document Revision screen, with file Status Checked Out, and download the file automatically with respective application as per selected file format.

Following point is not matching with Apps10 functionality:

  1. Once user done with required changes in Checked Out file and close the file, the system is not automatically the Checking In the same file by clicking on Check In Document option like apps10, instead opening the Select file to Upload option.

Please suggest whether am I missing basic data setup.

If you want to avoid that the user need to select the file when doing Check In, then you should install the Aurena Agent. How to install it is described in our technical documentation.

Good luck!
