Hi Team,

The customer experiences a lot of trouble with the Aurena Agent stop working for users.

In May we had 92 users affected
In June we had 64 users affected
In july we had 19 users affected
In august we had 42 users affected.

This is an ongoing problem, and it can only be solved by re-installing the Aurena Agent. That is not a sustainable solution for the customer.

Also, they have tried troubleshooting the Aurena Agent according to the article: KB0082974 with both methods with no results. and don´t get any answer from aurena agent in neither way.

 Product Version: 23.2.14
Business Impact: The Aurena agent stops working and the users need to reinstall the Aurena agent. We have considered not using the Aurena Agent but seen to our business needs that is not an option.

Hi,
IFS Aurena Agent stores certificate fingerprint into C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\IFS\IFSAurenaAgent\allowed_hosts.txt
When certificate expires, is necessary to update this. You can do it manually or use Aurena installar again - but I recomand to delete content of this file first. Also there is known issue with Eset.

More details are in this topic Certificate mismatching issue during the Aurena Agent installation in ifs cloud #GSDTECH# | IFS Community

Try check if you are not affected one of these scenarios.

Hi @InfFilipV ,

If it is certificate related, shouldn’t this occur to all the users at the same time?

Because here the issue is that it happens with different users during different times. (Only in UAT environment)

Was this the same issue with Eset?

Thank you!

Hi,
yes it should...

Eset replaced correct certificate with its own, but only for browser and installer, aurena agent still use correct one - its connection is not interferred/monitored by Eset and it is causing discrepancy.

Maybe that users have something common - proxy, user group, windows update, …
But also, your SU is very old, maybe it is already solved in newer RU/SU...
