Time Dependent Price / Charge Window


We have a standard price list where hourly charges are dependent on when the services are delivered e.g.,

  • Normal time: Weekdays 07.00 - 15.00
  • Outside normal time: Weekdays 15.00-07.00 and weekends.

For any work performed during ‘Outside normal time’, we can charge 100% more vs the normal time. Some customers have also their own set of definition when ‘normal time’ would be, or how much we are allowed to charge extra for work ‘outside normal time’.

We are able to handle this today based on manual addition to the sales lines, (based on timestamps from reported work hours), but I am trying to understand if there is a better more automated approach we could take.

Does anyone have a suggestion for how this could be handled? We are currently using IFS Cloud 23R1.
