Even though customer\prospect enable for Tax, tax will not be included in the sales quotation report
The system printing tax on the Sales Quotation report is dependent on the Print Tax Info checkbox that exists in the Customer/Order/Misc Order info tab.

The default setting is unselected, based on that usually the tax amount is not printed even if the customer is liable to pay tax, other than on the Customer Order Invoice.

But with this checkbox selected it implies that tax information is printed on e.g. Sales Quotation, Customer Order Confirmation.

Prior to Apps 9 there was no way to have tax printed for a Prospect customer, since no customer record existed at that time. But from Apps 9 Prospect is an own Customer Category,

which implies that a customer record exists, and then the same mechanism applies to such customers as well that tax information is printed on the Sales Quotation report if the checkbox

for Print Tax Info is selected.
