In IFS Cloud, 24R2 SU6, a core defect (confirmed by IFS Case) was identified
The ORA-06502 error message only appears when the lot number of the part being shipped is 13 or more characters. When the lot number is less than 13 characters the error does not appear.

Not sure how the IFS Community can help you here since you mentioned its a core defect. But anyone searching for the same error can getto know its a core defect. So thanks for sharing the info! Per the IFS Case, this is planned to be fixed in IFS Planned Version: 23R2 SU20, 24R1 SU14, 24R2 SU8, 25R1 SU2, 25R2 EA
