Couple of questions re Business Leads

  1. When converting a Business Lead is there a way to default/set the Category to ‘Prospect’

 

 

  1. After converting a Business Lead, is there a way to determine where the Customer was created?

We are trying to capture Business Leads converted to a Customer/Prospect and End User.

Hi,
regarding your first question: unfortunately IFS IEE does not support defaulting fields in dialogs. This is a framework restriction.

Regarding the second part: I assume you mean you would like to keep track, which Business Lead it originated from. This is currently not possible, because the Business Lead is deleted upon conversion. We understand that some IFS customers would like to preserve the Business Lead record for later analysis, so we are going to implement in the next - IFS Cloud Releases - measures, so you can decide if you would like to keep the Business Lead or not.
