Hi,

Does anyone know what’s the difference between plan and call-off schedule type which is used on supplier schedule and customer schedule? I am testing supplier schedule but it looks like no difference no matter which one I select.

Thanks.

Hi @eric.sun ,

This is how it describes:

-The two types of schedules are plans and call-offs.
-The data included in these two schedules is virtually identical, though the meaning is usually different. -In general, a customer plan is used to transmit future forecasts for planning purposes. This is equivalent to a customer sharing his MRP output with the supplier for future dates.
-A call-off generally represents specific shipping instructions for near-term. Call-off delivery information always overrides plan information.

Thanks!

@Lakmini Weerakoon , thanks for your quick reply. Does that mean a plan supplier schedule may be generated from a customer forecast automatically while a call-off supplier schedule may be generated from a customer order/shop order automatically if we run MPS and then run MRP?
