Hi all,

 I’m new to IFS and we have limited information after several IFS users have left the company.

My question is, once all the shop orders are closed, and the only items sitting in inventory are the items to be delivered to the customer, how do we ship the inventory item in IFS ? does this happen once the project has been invoiced and and closed?

Hi Mark,

If this is project connected, you need to figure out the project connected customer order (in Project Navigator → Sub Project → Activity → Demand Tab → Customer order line) and process it until it’s delivered.

If no existing customer order can be found against the project, you can create a new customer order, connect it to a project activity as shown below and process it until the items are delivered.

 

In customer order → Delivery Information tab, you can decide if the customer order is to be connected to a shipment or not.
