Hi,

It doesn’t seem possible to receive more than one line at a time in Register Direct Delivery, do you think it’s a bug or it was designed this way ?

Cheers !

Hi @Mbourret,

It is possible to Register the Direct Deliveries against Multiple Register Direct Delivery records at the same time (See first two screenshots from a IFS Cloud 21R2 Reference environment, it will be same with other Cloud versions and even for Apps10 Aurena Client).

But, it does not support Multi record Commands all the time and your selection should support the enablement of the corresponding Command option, and the fact whether a given Command can be enabled is solely a Data dependent decision taken by the IFS system on ‘Per Selection’ basis. In other words, you can not give a direct answer to the question whether certain Commands can be enabled for a given selection, and it is a Technical decision made by the system based on your selection.

In summary, yes it is possible to receive (Rather I would say Register the Direct Delivery of) more than one line at a time in Register Direct Delivery, but if you want to know why a given Direct Delivery Command is enabled for one set, not for another, it has to be dealt with case by case basis. Most of the time, the reason would be a Technical one (E.g. When working with ‘Direct Delivery from Internal Order Transit’  Command, you can have Lines with multiple Parts selected because seemingly the Direct Delivery from Internal Order Transit window does not support/can’t show Multiple Sites, Parts Numbers, Delivery Dates by design. See Last Screenshot)

@Kanishka Dilana hello it is possible to update several lines however you must change the value to YES 1 line at a time before updating. There is no option for Update All that I am able to see:

Wondering if this is something that can be considered in a future release

I have just recieved a ticket from our users complaining about this exact thing. They sometimes have upwards of 50 lines on a single direct delivery and are finding having to manually switch each line to Yes to be somewhat time consuming so would also like to see the option for an Update All to be considered.

@MaggieDP - Whilst I think about it, have you posted this in the ideas section?
