Our buyers want to get the POs to always have a delivery that is on a work day (Monday-Friday). I thought updating the distribution calendar to reflect that would solve the problem, but doesn’t seem to work. It does work for the inspection lead times.
We only use the Supplier Manufacturing Lead Time on the Supplier for Purchase Part screen as a lump sum number to get it to our dock. After trudging through the lead time documentation, it sounds like the only way would be to set the suppliers up with the same weekday calendar. Would that work? We would need to update the Supplier Manufacturing Lead Time to work with the new calendar.
I saw one solution on here that included updating the API code and that’s a non-starter in my book.
Any other ideas?
