Dear community,
we are currently using payment schedule functionality, but it is causing some issues in few of the sites we have specially in countries where suppliers do not send proforma invoice but rather a proper final invoice even for an advance payment.
we are exploring the possibility to use milestone payment, can you please let me know what the difference between both would be and in which cases each one of them is used.

we are using the milestones (per line) for that, beceause in my vourty we always send a actual invoice and no pro-forma invoice . So the set up is than that against each milestone an invoice shoudl come in.
working fine exept for the case where the last stage is a zero , than ther is no invoice send and the posting loop wil not be finished by the system and required manual interferance , so as long as you dont have this situation i can recomend the miles stone flow.
