In Apps9, one of our clients has a landed cost that should be 0.005980 + 0.000900 = .006880, however the Landed Cost field is showing as 0.01000.  The Decimal Places are showing as 5, yet it seems this cost is being rounded up - over 200K items, this becomes a discrepancy of £624 which is 31.2% out and not acceptable to the client, as their Purchase Orders need to reflect the actual costs.

Is anyone aware whether Landed Cost can be forced to display more accurately please?

Hi @Claire Valentine,

When it comes to the cost, I can see IFS supports only 2 or 3 digit rounding and this will be specified against the  currency code defined for the company. This is the reason why your landing cost are getting rounded off to 2 decimals and same values will be reflected in transactions history.

This behaviour is same even in App 10 & Cloud versions.

Try to add decimal places on the profiles of inventory handling personnel. Update the Regional Settings for these users to show and use five decimals. This changes the way IFS will calculate and keep the inventory values.
