Dear IFS Community,

I’m currently working on setting up and configuring a Demand Plan Server in a newly created IFS Applications 10 environment that has not previously used a Demand Plan Server.

So far, I’ve installed both the server and client, but I’m encountering the following issues:

1. When executing `POST_Demand_DemandServerUser.sql`, I receive an error message.

2. The Demand Plan Server displays the error: "Server needs at least one flow. Fatal Error during load from Oracle."

I have followed the online documentation(https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/Foundation1/020_installation/400_installation_options/130_add-on_cmp/demand/), but I’m unable to successfully connect the server to the application. As this is new territory for me, I’m seeking your expertise and guidance to resolve these issues.

Any advice or support would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you and Best regards.

Hi @XitSakunE ,

The error you are getting suggest that you don’t have any Base Flows setup in the “Demand Plan Server” window > “Base Flows” tab. In addition to this you need to have some other mandatory basic data like Period Versions, demand plan server basic data parameters in the  “Demand Plan Server” window > “General” tab, etc. Hence could you please review these basic data and try to start the demand plan server again?

Thanks!

Dear @Arosha Mudalige

Thank you very much for your support! I successfully configured the Demand Plan server, and I apologize for the delayed response and marking your comment as the best answer. As a system engineer, it took me a bit more time to set up the basic data.

I do have one question, though: regarding the step "Loading the test data – selecting File-Restore from the Server menu and using the 4000ModelTest.bac file," is it possible to configure the Demand Plan server in Production without loading the test data?

Thanks again for your help!
