We are investigating the SRM Panel Outlook plugin.
We have figured most things out, however the last piece of the puzzle is if there is a possibility for a Business Mail to auto select a Main Representative when it is created in IFS.
For example:
Whenever the ‘Save to SRM’ plugin option is selected in Outlook, the Business Mail is created in IFS.
The only people who can see this record in IFS are Admin users (Or everyone if we have the ‘Include Records Without’ checkbox selected)
As the user has to authenticate with their IFS login credentials, I would have thought there would be a way to auto set the Main representative (or at least give access to) for the business mail for the user who uploaded it into IFS.
Ideally, we want to only have IFSAPP as the admin user and deselect the ‘Include Records Without’ and for the Business Mail to auto choose the Main Representative who will have access and then be further able to share the access accordingly.
There also appears to be a bug where you add a representative to the Business Mail manually and observe it has the Main Representative check box selected. Upon adding in the record, it pre-populates the header, but when you save the record, the value is removed
There is minimal documentation I have found on this subject.
