Looking to network with IFS Community who uses Demand Plan Client. I would like to connect with multi-site manufactures and learn some of their best practices.
How do we handle product codes or new items in the Demand Client? We have a new product but with no history. There will be no historical usage. How does it get brought into the Demand Client for us to plan for future?

As per product development expertise new items must get its first forecast made by an educated guess, this can be done in several ways, several tools of this in Demand plan,
It can be done from several levels, so it does not need to be done base flow by base flow (if there is only one base flow part then guess the forecast for the first 3-6 periods and the periods after this can be decided with the new history coming in).
You can also use predecessors and start/end dates of the inheritance.
