Country of Origin

We are in the process of adding country of origin data against the supplier for purchase part records however some of our suppliers, typically distributors, could supply the same part from multiple origins which they wouldn’t know until the point of dispatch.  If we were to populate the SFPP record with the most likely country of origin, is there any scope in IFS to be able to register the country of origin at goods receipt, should it differ to what has been listed on the SFPP record?

Hello 

As you can see here, the country of origin can be modified / entered during the receipt. This is 24.1.3 version. Not sure which version of IFS you are using though.

As you can see here, the country of origin can be modified / entered during the receipt. This is 24.1.3 version. Not sure which version of IFS you are using though.

@Asela Munasinghe thank you for your quick response.  I believe we are using Apps 10 update 24 Aurena.  I cannot see country or origin as an option to add to the table view when receiving a purchase order line.

@M_Siem I just checked the IFS10 Ref enviornment, seems that the country of origin cannot be modified during receipt. I am sorry!

Yes, in the Cloud version 24.1.3 that I checked as per the screenshot, when you register arrivals > receive [PO receipt] you could modify the country of origin.

Seems that it could be possible to use in russian?
