Hi All,

We are trying to get guest users on our AAD to access our AssystNet. However when we use the UPN which is formatted as “Firstname.Surname_<Third Party Domain>#EXT~@<Our Domain>.onmicrosoft.com” as the contact users login field beginning ad-. The user is receiving a SAML error.

Has anyone had any success in granting guest users access to their assystNet with AzureAD authentication?

Dear customer

Thank you for the question you have raised

can you please review the below information with regards to adding a guest user

https://wiki.axiossystems.com/assyst11-7Wiki/index.php/Installation:System_Parameters_and_Setup_Data#Configure_guest_Contact_User

To enable unauthenticated users to invoke operations such as ‘Register New User’ or ‘Forgotten Password’ from the login page, it is necessary to provide a guest Contact User, whose privileges and credentials will be used for these operations.

The Login Name of this Contact User must be the same as the unauthenticatedIdentity element of each assyst application's security domain in your server's main configuration file (standalone-full.xml). For more details, refer to Database Security.

Note: This Contact User must have a valid assyst User Alias that is capable of receiving incidents.

I hope the above information answers your question

Kind regards,
