I am trying to clean up a work task under Maintenance where the costs were not set up properly before the resources charged time to it.  They are at 0.00.  I updated (we are not using HR rates, but Maint Org rates) but all time that was charged before the update is still 0.00.  How can I update these costs to reflect the proper rate?

How many lines are you referring?

One way is as follow:

  1. Go to Work Task Time Reports and search for the relevant lines
  2. Make sure you revoke all authorizations
  3. After that you need to make a small change on the time report lines and save them. Make sure this is a change which will not affect the lines.
  4. Then go to Work Task Transactions and search for the relevant lines
  5. Select all the Cost lines and press ‘Check and update Accounting’, this will check the correct cost on that specific date of the time report.

Unfortunately step 3 is needed, I was not able to manage this without this step. My suggestion would be to change the comment field.
