Is there a way in Equipment Object Navigator to see if a child node is out of operation (Red) without having to click through and expand each parent node (especially in a large tree). In the image below there are objects one level down that are out of operation but there is no immediate visual indication of that.

Or is there a way to turn the parent icon Red if at least one child node is Red?

Equipment Object Navigator

Hi!

In the 24R2 version, this feature is available—you no longer need to open each node to check its operational status, as non-operational nodes are now visually indicated in red.

Thanks

Hi @taenaren  We are sorry, there is no feature as such to visually indicate on the parent (parent icon Red) depending on child status.

Instead, we have to use the Objects pages in the Right-Hand Side to get an indication of child status. Check the image attached below.

It would have been nicer to color indicate the Status value on the overview.

Agee. It will be much better if the parent provided some indication that there is a non-operational somewhere below it without having to go through the tree and manually expand each individual node.

I have also tried creating a new tree view but have encountered the same issue.

New Tree View

Applying the Out of Operation Filter returns nothing in this view even though there is a node that is out of operation

I agree, there is no help with that. The filter first looks into the status of the Parent.
