Hi All,

We are getting an error saying “Object ID is invalid” when we try to enter an measurement to object. What can be the reason behind this?

TIA.

Hi @kasunhp I have the same issue - it showed up during customer tests on IFS Cloud 25R1 SU5. It showed up when end-user users were used for process testing - after that we tested it also on IFSAPP and there was no error message. IMO this needs to be raised as a bug, as message and trace is not helpful in solving it.

Hi @kasunhp upon further investigation - one possible solution - if your customer is not using Data Access Control, then you can turn off parameter Data Access Control in Solution Manager > Setup > System Parameters.

Following is not an ideal solution if your customer wants to use this functionality, but at least provides some workaround:  I’ve noticed that this error is showing up only when you want to record first measurement and Data Access Control is turned ON. If you turn it OFF, record your first measurement, and then change the parameter to ON - then following measurements can be done without any issue.
