Object Description in Active Work Order in Excel

Hi IFS Guru,

 

I am trying to down load the list of WOs through Active Work Order ( Maintenance>Work Management>Preparation and Planning>Active Work Order) in Excel format, all the tables was downloaded except the Object Description is not get downloaded in Excel, it is showing on the screen in the same column as “ Object and their description) but when downloaded in excel only Object ID is downloaded, even in the Column Chooser option Object Description field is not available, is there any way around to get this downloaded from Active Work Order.

Object Description is important for us for the scheduling purpose otherwise we would have to download from Functional Object and match it with the list from Active Work Order, which is not a practical solution.

 

We are using IFS Cloud Web version: 22.2.8.20230509084539.0.

Hi @KHAN001,

 

Can you please try the following?

 

Steps:


1. Open Page Designer for the Active Work Orders page.
2. Select Work Order List.
3. In the content of the List add field “MchCodeDesciption”.
4. Save the configuration and publish it.

 

 


Now if you select to export option, Object Description will be included in the excel (If you are selecting visible columns only, then make the column visible from the column chooser).

Worked well, now I can download the Object ID description.
