Hi, I se the main.ps1 has a resource named AUTOSCALER' “-resource 'AUTOSCALER' : Installs ifs-Autoscaler helm chart” Does it exist any documentation on how this works and how to configure it? it had been nice to use autoscaling on high load instead of running manual replicas on the pods? Kjell Åge

Supervisor Access - Team 24R1

Hi All, We are looking to implement the new functionality of assigning a supervisor to a person directly through a ‘Team’. We have added a Supervisor Access Role which should allow the Supervisor to authorize the time of the subordinate. However, after creating the Team and adding the Member under the Supervisor it isn't working. The member isn't shown in the list for the supervisor in the Time Registration Window. It seems that this setup is not complete and I am missing some connection the system needs. Does anyone know what other setup is required?(The problem shouldn't be with the Access Role as it worked when using the traditional setup via Organization Structure.)With kind regards,Marian

SCHEDULED JOB ERROR

We are getting an error when the scheduled job “Schedule id 57 : Start Time Balance Reconciliation” does not complete, so we have to manually reconcile. This has been going on for at least one month. No prior issues on Apps 10 since going live almost 3 years ago.

Updating the Person ID When an Employee's Name Changes

Hi everyone, I'm facing a challenge with managing person IDs in IFS Cloud when an employee's name changes. Currently, the person IDs are based on the employee's first name initial, and last name.However, when an employee's name changes (due to marriage, legal name change, etc.), the person ID needs to be updated accordingly.Is there a way to make this change within the application itself? SQL query on GL Balance Analysis: Different results when using SQL vs IFS Screen

Hello IFS Friends, When using Oracle SQL Developer I get a different value for balances of GL accounts vs using the GL Balance Analysis screen in IFS. We’re on IFS 10.11 and I’m using IEE. Logging in user App Owner in both cases. Am I using the wrong view? Below is my SQL Query and the result: And here’s the same searching using IFS front end GL Balance Analysis screen, but getting different result: System info is telling me this is the right view: I’m getting the same type of issue no mater what parameters I use (specifying company code, time periods, etc.) Any suggestions? Thank you!

Alt Delivery Note numbers not in chronological order

Have an issue where I noticed that t Italian Company's Alt Delivery Note Nos sometimes skip a place. (not according to the sequential order) According to the users in Italy these Alt Delivery Note Nos must come out in sequential order per the fiscal authority. Gaps should not occur.

How to create a substitute maps: Wildcard used for resolving substitution variables in notification messages

Hi experts, I need to add the request.access_group variable in a notification message which is sent when an escalation is created. So, I have thought of starting from the escalation table, then moving to quote table and then moving to request table, and from there getting the access group value. In my notification message, I have included {{request.access_group}}.This is the Substitution map I have created which is giving an empty value in the email.How can I get this to work? Hi,we created a custom attribute in entity configuration and approved and published the entity.I can see a new alternate view created with new attribute.When i am trying to load or insert the data using Migration Job , all other fields data is inserting but not the new field(custom attribute). any steps am i missing ?Can anyone help me on this.Thanks.

Centralised printing from IFS Cloud

Hi all, We have recently implemented IFS Cloud. As an organisation we have centralised follow-me printing, so a single print queue with multiple multi-function printers which you release your job on your printer of choice. If you Preview your document, you can print to directly to the print q as yourself.If I send the print job via the Print Agent, it sends the job to the print Q from the cental Print Agent as Administrator, so gets lost as a none-user job on the print server. It has been suggested that I have the Print Agent installed on every device, which isn’t really a viable option. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience of this Follow-Me style printing and Print Agent? TIA

GRN amendment after invoice matched and paid

Hi,We have received an invoice from a supplier but the quantity invoiced was lower than stated on the GRN / PO. We allocated the invoice against the correct quantity received, leaving a balance remaining on the GRN.Since then the PO has been reduced to match the quantity invoiced. (Incorrect amount GRN’d at the beginning).Can the amount GRN’d be reduced so it removed it from the GRNI as we will not be receiving the balance?The invoice has been paid in full in April 2024.Thank you,Lisa

Can other VPN than Azure VPN be used to access build place DB

Company policies are preventing download from Microsoft and therefor Azure VPN cannot be downloaded. Is there other options for customers to connect to the build place DB?Like a IPSec tunnel\connection from Corporate Firewall or a different VPN client.

Reverting and cancelling a closed DOP Order

Hi, we have a common scenario in Apps10 where there is a Customer Order Line with supply code “DOP Order”, and the DOP Order is linked to a Shop Order.We’ve noticed that once the Shop Order has been completed, the DOP Order closes and the “Qty Complete” field is populated with the total qty received from the Shop Order.Occasionally, a customer order is cancelled after we have already closed the shop order.We’re able to reopen the shop order, unreceive the manufactured qty, and unissue the materials, but this does not seem to impact the DOP Order. The “Qty Complete” field doesn’t change which means we’re unable to cancel either the Shop Order or DOP Order.Would appreciate any advice on this!

Can't Close Period Due to Unapproved Vouchers

When we try to close out a period, we get this error message that there are vouchers in the hold table.However, when I look in the hold table (Vouchers Analysis/Voucher Rows Analysis) it is blank, even using admin credentials.I was able to find these transactions in the database (select * from voucher where voucher_status <> 'Approved').The vouchers causing this issue are all Voucher Type T and have negative voucher numbers. They are all in Not Approved / Waiting voucher status. I also checked that these transactions do not show up if I try to run Update GL Vouchers (with wide open parameters. How can we approve these vouchers?What would cause them to get created with negative vouchers like this, and why are they not showing up to be approved in Vouchers Analysis?

Important Rental Management-Tools and Equipments on Work Task

Dear All, After returning the part/material via the Return tab on Work Task, the part still remains as issued in the Material tab rather than automatically going to unissued. This probably causes one to perform the ‘Start Rental’ option even after the ‘End Rental’ event has occurred.. Is this a bug in the application or I am missing out on something? Kindly help on the same.. This appears to be a bug..
