IFS Cloud Custom Event attribute not appearing

Hello, I need to create a custom event, where i send a push notification into MWO, when a property of an entity gets changed to Approved. When i try to create the custom event this property doesnt show in any of the tables of the attribute, can someone help please? This Status is attribute Objstate and has label Status.When i create a custom event, so that when an object is changed it will send the push notification, and choose the entity, i can’t find in any of the following tables the attribute Status or Objstatus: Thanks for the Help,Francisco Lopes

HI we experience the following for a security profil which has enabled the “allocation batch” module, the user can see the module but he is not allowed to click on run or scheduleis there a specific secuirty settings to allow the access to those button ?Christophe

Revenue Recognition when Accum. Revenue Modified

*Please see attached file* We have a project with the following financial project settings: In the prior period (period 9) after running revenue recognition, the accumulated recognized revenue was modified to 2,591,784.68 (cell AB9 in attached file). Accumulated margin is thus 33.85% . This was done because we decided to take more revenue in the period since there would be little to no additional costs to be incurred. In the current period (period 10) after running revenue recognition, the accumulated recognized revenue fell to 2,261,784.68 (cell AB10 in attached file), reverting to the revenue based on the POC% . As such, income for the period is -330,000 (cell AD 10) . Accumulated margin fell to 24.20% . We would like the accumulated recognized revenue to stay as it was in the prior period (ie. we already recognized a higher revenue) while also recognizing actual cost. Is this possible ? And if so, what settings should be in place? Any thoughts/ideas would be much appreciated.

Update allocated hours in MWO - not seen in PSO

Hello, I have tried to test the new functionality Update Allocated Hours in MWO, 24R1. The change was transferred to IFS Cloud.But I cannot see any updates in PSO. IFS Cloud Clone

We are on IFS managed Cloud and are using the automated cloning options via SNOW.Has anyone experienced that when taking a clone of PRD, it affects the performance of the source system, in this case PRD?The Cloning is set to take 10 hours, so for a global company with 24/7 operations, there is never a good time to have something disturb PRD.Summary question:“Will a clone affect the performance of the source system?”Br Hans

MRB quantity influence on the available quantity in Inventory part in stock.

Hello,maybe someone can help me to understand:In Inventory part in stock the available quantity of the part let’s say is 10. I registered MRB case for that Inventory part in stock record: MRB case quantity is 2.MRB case is in progress.Do MRB part quantity should somehow influence the available quantity of the part - to make it less, because some parts are under MRB?I see that MRB is not influencing the available part quantity.Is it correct that part quantity under MRB doesn’t influence part available quantity?I can select Availability control ID - Not Available, but it will make not available all quantity. But only 2 pieces are under the MRB.Could you explain what is the reason to register MRB for the part in stock if it doesn’t influence the part availability for MRB quantity? Or maybe I am doing something wrong in MRB case, that available part quantity is not changing?

FSM Smart Client, locking fields upon status

Hi, What would be the best way of selectively locking fields on a screen on the SmartClient? I am trying to disable certain fields on the project screen depending on the project status. This script below almost works, but diesnt lock the Notes tab records. Is there a better way of doing this? essentially, if the project is approved, the details cant be updated by everyone, only certain people (who use a different project screen).We cant use the app param ‘FREEZE_PROJECT_APPROVAL_STATUS’ as some people will be allowed to update but not others. IFS Cloud export custom event action ins file

Hi everyone, This question is in regards to IFS cloud 23R2We can export custom event headers as .ins files Event header export commandThe event action on the other hand doesn’t appear to have any export option other than adding to a configuration package.Can anyone confirm if there is any way to export event actions as .ins files? Coming from IFS 9 we would often use sqlplus to handle deploying events and actions and would like to continue that process if possible. Inventory Part Availability Planning - Wrong linking to Work Task demand (sometimes)

In view Inventory Part Availability Planning, it happens sometimes that my customer experiences wrong linking to demand of type Work Task/Maintenance Material Requisition. The Supply/Demand link takes us to another Maintenance Material Requisition than the one the demand comes from (the Work Task that the material req is connected to may be corrrect or incorrect. Sometimes even the site is not the right one, and the part no may or may not be correct). We are not able to re-create this in a structured way, it just happens sometimes without us understanding why. Since the customer has high security we cannot let IFS support enter the IFS instance but only the ref environment. Because of this, and since we cannot re-create it in a structured way, we cannot get help via bug report. There are no customizations present.Cloud version 23.1.14

Huge rounding in accounting currency when posting an invoice

Hello, Community!We faced with issue, which can’t even detect. In some invoices during posting process strange rounding appears in accounting currency. It looks for me as a bug. So some invoices detected as invoices with errors and error is: When we try to proceed invoice with errors all rows post correct exclude Trade debtors: by some reason Amount posted correct but Amount in Accounting currency posts only in VAT part - Net amount in accounting currency posts as rounding. That’s how invoice looks like: We will appreciate any help. Thank you.

IFS Cloud switching between TLSv1.2 and 1.3

The customer is on IFS Cloud 23R2 SU8. They have the North American Freight Interface mod that works with Pacejet. When the TLS is v1.3, Pacejet gets the call. When the TLS v1.2, the call fails to leave the network. Attempts to permanently make the TLS v1.3 have failed. And the system keeps switching between TLS v1.2 and v1.3.Our questions are:Is anyone else experiencing this issue? If so, what have you done to resolve it?

What determines whether the MWO homepage tiles are displayed in a single color vs. the multi-color theme?I’m using MWO 24.6.1242.0 on Windows and iOS, I use an Appearance Mapping with a single user condition, I did refresh the cache and also disconnected MWO.The issue occurs on 23.2.5, but I’ve seen it in other releases, too.

Customer order line - delivery type correction

Hi everyone,Is it possible to change the delivery type on a customer order line even if invoiced/closed? I have a situation where a user entered an order line and for some reason the delivery type was not auto copied from the sales part. The order then carried through to completion. Hi, in 23R2 the layout on Report Format and Output window is a bit updated and there is now a toggle under E-mail. I did some testing and an e-mail i sent to the adress in the field regardless if the “Send E-mail”-toggle is activated or not. Is this correct behavior? It is a bit confusing Thanks! BREmma

IFS 10 Rev Rec issue

Has anyone ever seen an issue where when running rev rec, a new project’s “revenue recognized previously accumulated” pulls the number of the project directly previous to it? So then, IFS tries to “zero” out that previously recognized revenue on that project, which isn’t real. We’ve tried multiple fixes:Manually adjust previously accumulated revenue to 0, but then for some reason that flips the same $ adjustment to cost.Turn revenue calc off which hasn’t seemed to work so far.Leave revenue calc on, but enter .0001 for planned revenue, which seems to work sporadically, but not always.
