Does HR Matrix organization structure extends to Purchase Authorization Rules

I have the HR Matrix organization structure setup as follows. Employee A belongs to Company 101. Employee A is connected to position structure 7000 Employee B belongs to Company 102. Employee B is connected to position structure 6000 Employees in Position 7000 reports to Employees in Position 6000 Supervisor Access setup is in place The Purchase Authorization setup is as follows. Employee B is added as a Purchase Authorizer for company 101. Authorization Routing Template is created connecting both positions 6000 and 7000 PO Authorization Rule is also in place. Scenario When a PO is raised for a site connected to company 101, employee A can authorize the PO without any errors. But employee B get the following error. “The Authorizer/Acknowledger ‘B’ is not assigned to position 6000 in company 101 and she is not a superior authorizer or substitute for any of the persons assigned to position 6000” Question Does HR Matrix organization structure extends to Purchase Authorization Rules

Format specific info per institute-ISO20022

When trying to generate an ISO20022 payment file, I get a message saying that format specific info for tempate id i smissing. If I go to Payment Institutes/Payment methods per Institute--right click on ISO20022-- Format specific Info per institute it is blank. What should be in this form? If I create new line , the format ID is filled with ISO20022 but in the FIle Template field; I cannot choose anything. Does anypone have a manual for how to set up ISO20022 properly? This is for a german company, but I will do it for scandinavian companies as well

Logic to do the Step Requisition Approval for Purchasing

We will be utilizing the Purchase Requisition System and have potential for multi-level approvals. An example would be the approver for a department has a limit of $5,000, then it goes to the CFO who has a limit of $15,000, then it goes to the CEO who has an open limit. If we have a requisition for $20,000 the department would approve it, then the CFO, then CEO. This is working fine, the problem is the email notification. We want to notify the department approver first, then once approved it goes to CFO, once approved goes to CEO. The out of box (OOB) email Event does this excellent, it just gives an email that is not in a usable format. We have created a custom event, but it is sending to all 3 approvers at the same time. How do we get the logic from the OOB Event that we can use on our custom event or clone the OOB event to get the step through approver process? I’m sure someone has the logic and others utilize this the same way.

IFS Security for Global Records / Screens & Data

I’m looking for some advice around screens in IFS which hold global data. We’re doing a big security review at the moment so want to make sure that we’ve got data managed such that only users in particular companies can see data they’re granted access to through site / company access. Some examples of the areas where we’ve had to make considerations are: Customers [header level & address / contacts], we’re managing this through CRM (we set groups up for each company basically) IALs, we reviewed all the IALs we’ve built in the system to ensure they only point to data for the relevant company Report Archive, we discovered there’s a permission set which a number of users have which allows them to view all reports printed (we’ve since revoked this) Employment Informaiton / People Finder & Suppliers, we’ve accepted these as being global screens but are happy that there isn’t much sensitive data here so minimal level of concern I was hoping the community might be able to help us come

Command line options for installer.cmd

I’m trying to rebuild a DEV environment from PROD in an automated fashion. I see the extended server installer script installer.cmd accepts command line options. How do I call this script to rebuild the extended server in a hands-off fashion? Can I pass in things like the SSL certificate name and credentials, etc.?

Tracking lobby usage

Does anyone have a suggestion on how we can track who and when lobbies are being used in apps 10? Or course we can create an API with a get-function that updates a history table when called, but I wonder if anyone came up with something more elegant or had a discussion with IFS on this? One of the recent updates enables this for quick reports and this is a great tool which can help us identify which reports are important and which could be phased out (we have 2000 reports build over many years).

Document Approvals

Hello, We will soon start using doc management with approval templates in Apps 8. Are you aware of anything in IFS that shows the approval status on the document itself? As far as we can see, the doc revision card shows this, but there is nothing to show on the document itself once it is printed / downloaded to your PC. Automatically send via email the RMA report

Dear IFS Heroes, I want to automatically send the RMA report via email when the status gets ‘’Released’’ in IFS 9. Usually I’m using the PDF_REPORT_CREATED event, but it’s not working for RMAs because it’s not picking up any PDF_PARAMETERS and this way I can’t send it to the correct email addresses. Is there a way to send RMA pdf reports automatically to the correct email addresses? Thank you, RM

Hi all, We recently implemented IFS Apps 10 beginning of december for our first business unit. I was - together with a collegae - responsible for data migration. As a data warehouse builder I am wondering how we can access the data for other purposes, like reporting. On premise we have a SQL server BI stack. Is it possible for me to access data from the Information Sources? Or is this only possible from the Enterprise Explorer and/or the EOI? Kind regards, Jeroen

Hi, I am using IFS 9 and there is Application performance issue, when i see the performance details into Task Manger, one java file which is related to Application, it is located as ‘mw_home\java\bin\java’ utilizing 80% CPU Usages and users are getting performance issue. Custom Logical Page based on IAL

Hi Folks, There is an error in Maintenance Posting analysis. Error: Value is missing or has an invalid time interval for posting type TP1 control type C55 code part B in company 1001. Difference between smart client user and portal client user

What is the difference between the FSM Smart Client User and Portal Client user ? IS it possible for a user to perform all type of tasks in both the FSM Smart Client and portal client. For example , if a dispatcher user role is there , whether dispatcher user can schedule the task in both FSM Smart Client and FSM Portal Client.

Incorrect project costs due to bad project link in business events

We found out that since we are working with IFS10 our project costs show a difference between “Actual” and “Used” at the moment it should not. It took us a while but we now dicovered that since the update we get the “invoice to be paid” (belgian, 444000 / 444005 accounts) double in the project costs because in the business event APINVOICE there is a “include project connection” on the M18 and M10 .. where we did not have this before. I can correct this in the database and then we have the costs correct, but i’m wondering if someone experienced the same issue ? And what could be the reason that this got updated like this in IFS10?

Using AppLocker with IFS

We are in the testing phase of trying to implement AppLocker within our organization. We quickly ran into an issue with IFS. We are using App8 SP1+. IFS does not have a publisher signature and the path to the file Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.exe will change every time we reconfigure the application or even delete the app data folder to force a re download of all of the IFS files to a client's computer. Are there any suggestions on how to configure AppLocker to allow IFS to run out of Add Data? Thanks
