Can you suppress the Document attachment dialogue prompt?

Is there a way to suppress this document selection screen? We are trying to automate the printing of attachments through Shop Floor Workbench using the Create Reports button. There is a Print Attached Documents check box that does not really function in a practical manner (it’s on the IFS idea wall). In the meantime, we wrote an event that takes the Routing Work Guidelines and recreates those attachments at the Shop Order Work Guideline level to make this button work. The issue is that this dialogue comes up and you have to press OK before each attachment will print.

want to change column status of view customer order in FND tool (IFS 10)?

Hi All, I tried to change status (Planned to Released ) of any view though FND tool (Procedure- INSERT_OR_UPDATE).But unable to change when i seen result.I add Status(Objstate at customer order view) column in File mapping tab.But unable to update status. Kindly assist someone. How can do that. Thanks in advance.

Cancel and redo PO receipt

When we find quality issues on parts after they have been inspected and put in stock, how do we cancel the receipt in order to register a new inspection with rejected quantities? We have heard that we have to put the parts back to the arrival location to be able to cancel the receipt, but we cannot move inventory stock to the arrival location again. (not possible to select the arrival location as destination. Or when changing a transport task we can select the arrival location as destination but it is not possible to save since there is no PO reference and we cannot add it manually. We want to achieve:Correct PPM data/quality statistics Ability to send parts back to supplier or scrap Please help us find an approach to this problem.

Planned Revenue value doesn't show total for Planned Revenue Hours

Hello, We are using Apps 10, UPD9. Has anyone experienced the scenario described below? Activity P2657.T01.0010PM.00PM.0040 contains 47 planned hours at a sell rate of $90.00. This equals $4,230.00 revenue. All of the hours are used and thus the Actual Revenue, Posted Revenue and Planned Resource Revenue are similarly $4,230.00. Yet in IFS the Planned Revenue is only $3,300.00 per the screen shot .

Customer invoice reprint

Hi, I have several customers who want to reprint an invoice for a customer order because the price is not right, with the sales part.here is my feed: creation of the customer invoice debit ---- customer invoice credit --- reprinting of the invoice by modifying the price of the items .in ifs it is not possible to reprint an customer invoice with the same sales parts by modifying the price ... so how to do?

Oracle CSI or media

We run Apps8 on Oracle 11G, purchased the ASFU Oracle Enterprise Edition through IFS and pay our annual support and maintenance via IFS.We are in the process of migrating to a new data centre and want to take the opportunity to upgrade to the latest version of Oracle certified by IFS for Apps 8 which appears to be 12.1.0.2In order to download the media, we need our Oracle CSI number but are having trouble obtaining that from IFS. Alternatively, we need IFS to download the media on our behalf and load in to our FTP site on the Support Centre. This is proving problematical.Anyone got any experience on how to get Oracle media or CSI details ?ThanksDavid

CRM Outlook Add-In - Insufficient Privileges Error

Hi, Users are getting the error “Error while saving the mail to IFS CRM. Insufficient priviledges.” when saving an email to IFS CRM through Outlook Add-In. When they are granted DocumentHome projection, it goes away. However, we want to know which activity within this projection is needed to resolve the following error, as we don’t want to grant the entire projection to users. Thank You.

Increase the length of a user defined field

Customer wants to store a detail in a field which is 800/1000 character, I have change the data type to Long string as well as also changed the column datatype to VARCHAR(MAX). Still its showing the DB column supports upto 256 characters.’Value for column is too large.Maximum characters allowed is 256”

How to change account number for certain invoice

Hi there, do you possibly know where in the IFS app can I change the bank account which will be printed in the invoice for the customer? I know I can define different cash accounts for the customer, but where do I choose the one I would like to use in the invoice (if different than the default for certain customer)?

Cannot find module './Light.json'

What could be the reason for the Client Error ‘Cannot find module './Light.json' appearing when logged into Aurena Client at the startup? It happens in one environment while other environments having the same code base do not.Error appears after a delivery installation which contains IFS Aurena Framework Binary Delivery 10.9.13.1. Once the delivery is rolled back the error disappears.

Scheduling IAL to Copy All Data

Good Morning,We are trying to schedule an existing IAL to copy all data at scheduled time to run a report faster.The problem here is the option ‘Copy All Data’ is not available for that specific and several other IAL’s and I see its available for some. How can I change it from ‘Use Live Data’ to ‘Copy All Data’I understand with this option, we will not have upto the second data in that report, is there a way to solve this i.e copy all data at scheduled time at night and then add recent data at the time when user run report to get up-to-date data.So far I tried to deploy IAL again without checking ‘Create IAL for Live Data only’ and I get following message. Not sure what it is looking forAny ideas how to resolve this.Thanks

Developer Studio wrong CPS Reference

In the IFSDS doing a customization in some entity, I need to download the related files, the IFS DS suggest all the necessary files.The problem is IFSDS is ignoring the CPS version, see below.Even the target version of the project set UPD7.Looking in archive, we can see the files in the example is in version 7.Anyone know if exist a parameter in order to fix this?Just to add some info, in ISD, the problem doesn't occur. Sometimes customers have hierarchal structures (multiple customers for 1 overarching customer) and Would like to know a way to search managers across the customers.

Some customers have their customer sites split out as separate customers to allow for different rep assignments and visibility at the site level of a Customer 360 view. They are running into an issue where the Customer Contact’s Manager is located at a different site (therefore a different customer in IFS). Is there a way around this?The only workaround I found was to add the manager to the site where his/her employee was located.

Mobile items stuck in status waiting

One of our customers went live in FSM 6 update5 February 1st and for the first 2 weeks teches did not have any issue. But starting from 3rd week, they started seeing some of their mobile items were not sent to server and waiting in the wait and ready queue. Routing - does it support SubAssy

Hi, I would like to ask, for IFS “Routing” , How does it support SubAssy?Is there any workaround for it? (the attached pic is the image) background-customer don’t want to create a seprate Routing for SubAssy, because seperate Routing means they have to create dedicate Shop-Order and dedicate Product No for SubAssy. And they have 20+ SubAssy.

An issue with the IFS XML to JSON transformer.

I’ve found an issue with the IFS XML to JSON transformer. I wanted to check with you first before submitting a bug report in case this was a known issue. I am sending an outbound document (PLSQLAP_DOCUMENT) via IFS Connect. On my routing address, I’ve included the IFS XML to JSON transformer. The generated XML looks correct: <CONTRACT type="Text">0301</CONTRACT> However, after the transformer processes the message, the text field for contract has its leading zero dropped: "CONTRACT": "301", This is causing issues for the service that is consuming this message. Right now I do not have a clean way around this. We have hard coded this value in the app we’re interfacing with as a short term solution, but this will not work long term. In DEV, the package I’m sending from is C_MANUF_INTEGRATION_API. Print Agent "Processor Failed: Could not update Spool Queue. IO Error, file in use."

The logs from the print agent show this error ">" "Processor Failed: Could not update Spool Queue. IO Error, file in use." Anti-Virus has been turned off. Server backups. snapshots and replication software have been turned off. What have we missed?There have been no recent changes to the print server or print agent.

Not saving changes in "my start page".

Hi Mate, One particuler user reported problems with not saving changes in "my start page". anything what is being changed (added) is not saved after exiting IFS, so all saved searches and titles are gone. Is there any known treat for this? Amal
