We have a situation where, in Aurena, we have to resort to IEE as Aurena does not allow us to complete the task:When we receive a payment from a EU customer, the bank currently charges us a fee which is netted off against the receipt meaning we cannot use the automatic customer offset as the receipt no longer matches the invoices Although there is an allowable difference, we cannot always use this as we may have invoice queries/disputes meaning we often receive payments from customers against later invoices and not the earliest meaning the automatic allocation does not pick up any matching meaning we have to use the manual function which does not allow write offsIn IEE, we can create a new Customer Offset Proposal, select the CUPOA and the invoices to be matched then scroll to write off and enter the amount(s) we wish to write off.We can allocate in Automatic Transaction Matching however we often receive payment much earlier than the remittance advice meaning we cannot reconcile the ba

Multi Currency in Multi Site

I have a scenario where one company have many sites in different countries.This has been setup to operate company accounting currency for all sites and operational for many years.Now they need each site to use their own currency for the internal transactions (dealing with local vendors and other stake holders). Whereas international transactions to be done with the same company accounting currency.I cannot find any option to have site specific currency setup. Any workaround or solution exist.

Different inventory cost and purchase price

How is it possible that a inventory part purchase with price 100 and inventory cost shows 1000? the only transactions happening were transport of stock between locations in the Site.

Mobile WO - alternative method for customer signature

Does anyone have an alternative solution for getting a customers signature for the report in of a work order without having to hand over the mobile device to the end customer. Due to covid we have some customers refuse to handle the mobile devices.is there anyone else who has had this issue?

PSO Appointment View

Hello, I am currently having Issues with Appointment booking screen in PSO. we are integrated with apps 10 and can use the appointment booking features within Apps. However, when we look for the any work orders in the appointment booking screen within PSO (6.0) no work orders appear. Any help would be appreciated Thanks Wayne

CRM panel Overview my activities and opportunities

Is there a way to get an overview of my activities and opportunities in the CRM panel?If I receive an email from a colleague who is registered as Representative in IFS, I can click on his/her name and I’ll get an overview of all opportunities and activities where he is present. BUT I don’t seem to be able to click on my own name and get the same overview.According to a topic here it is possible in the SRM panel - you can click on your name in the recipient/attendees list to navigate to the representative details page. The same should be possible in the CRM panel.Do I need to make a setting or is this a missing feature in the CRM Panel in IFS?

what are the criteria use in setting up base flows and master flow in a multi echelon distribution network

we are struggling in set up our base flow ; we do not know whether to set it by customer or by part for forecasting purpose. Please we can use some help in setting up our base flows, combined flows and master flows . should we use by Parts or by customer o by Location . Aurena Server error

We’re running Apps 10 Update 10 and after a Linux update to one of our dev instance Oracle database server, we’re getting the dread “Server Error” when trying to log into Aurena. The other 2 instances received the same back end patch to their Oracle db servers and are working fine. There is nothing definitive in any of the wls_domain/<instance>/servers logs and I’m not sure where else to look. According to the https://:port/admin middleware forms all the deployments are green. Any idea where else I can look for the cause of this error. This dev environment worked without issue before the db server upgrade and IEE works fine.

Hi,In the case f my customer, It was agreed to set up juste one Base Profile and have the possibility to use Personnel Profile by users.After starting, severel personalizations have been stored in the Base profile by administrator, and in the Personnel Profile by the users.The problem, when the customer decides the retroacvtivity on a personalization of Base Profile.Case: making a field non mandatory, initially this field was made mandatory in the Base Profil. When applying this Base profile again, the modification is not visible to some users, bacause they had made some personalizations on the same window, stored in the Personnel Profil, because by definition, and as standard, it is the Personal Profile that takes precedence (which have priority). Have you any solutions for this case? than you in advance for your help.Ouahiba

Aurena access from the web

we are looking at accessing Aurena from the internet rather then using VPN. The documentation refers to a reverse proxy but we are currently using a port forwarding rule within our firewall to access our Touch Apps server. Does anyone have any Pros and Cons regarding both methods? Also, exposing port 48080 to access Aurena, is there a way to change the port to the admin portal so it isn’t accessible from the web ( /admin ). thanks,Steven

Resource allocation against a demand on Project Activity

HiYou can enter resource demand (planned hours) in the Project Navigator, however limited to linear spreading between activity start/finish date. More sophisticated spreading options exists if you enter the hours in Project Resource Forecast and then “transfer to planning” (to Project Navigator). Note that the spreading, e.g. frontloaded, remains in Project Navigator, i.e. until you might change it there.Thus, what I would like to understand is whether it is possible to allocate employees towards a spread demand, e.g. frontloaded, and spread the allocation similarly to the demand, or if I am “stuck” with an option to only have linearly spread allocation within the allocation period.I do realize that there are challenges/prerequisites for spreading allocation equal to demand, e.g. if you chose to allocate in only a subset of the demand period because how then would you spread. On the other hand, a typical need would be to simply accommodate a demand fully, both with respect to hours, d

New to IFS. What’s the best way to update a Bin Location of an inventory item?I’ve been shown how to do it in “Move Inventory Part” but then when we do a search for the item it shows up as two locations?Is there a way to update the locations so only the current location shows up when searching?Thanks

Voucher row number vs Invoice Item

Has anyone attempted to join the gen_led_voucher_row to the actual invoice_items where the Sales Parts reside ? The requirement is to be able to view which GL row has been created by which invoice item row. I can’t find a direct link so it seems we have to go via inv_accounting_row by invoice_id and then to find the rows in invoice_item but then we fail to get a 1-to-1

Composite VAT on Sales

HiI’d be interested to hear how anyone has handled Composite VAT / Tax rates on sales?For example: A Package Part with multiple components each with different Tax Codes and Rates. Or you have a sales part that contains several components with different rates. When you raise the invoice the Invoice, the tax amount needs to be the ‘weighted average’ tax amount of the individual components, but you show only a single line. Thanks
